FPO Junction is an online knowledge portal aimed at building the capacities of Farmer Producer Organisations, specifically the key functionaries, development professionals working with FPOs and other relevant stakeholders. The digital platform has been developed jointly by National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), Bankers Institute of Rural Development (BIRD) and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH under the project “Capacity Enhancement for Sustainable Agriculture and Sustainable Aquaculture (C-SASA)”. C-SASA is commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) to provide technical cooperation and support to NABARD.

This online portal is a repository of knowledge resources and information related to FPOs, provides access to online capacity building programmes and resources for Master Trainers for capacity building of FPOs functionaries. It further includes a collection of viable business models, developed on the successes of FPOs and other organisations from across the country, guidebooks on various relevant subjects, a comprehensive compendium of government schemes and countrywide news related to FPOs. The FPO map available on the portal includes the details of FPOs from across the country categorised state-wise, region-wise and agri-business activity-wise. This platform also hosts other useful resources in the form of policy and strategy documents, thematic studies and capacity assessment tool for FPOs. These are intended to contribute towards strengthening the FPO ecosystem pan-India.
